Kalantary, Farhad
Farhad Kalantary is a visual artist born in Tabriz, Iran, 1962. He works primarily with film, video and installations, and he lives in Oslo, Norway. Working primarily with the non-narrative, Kalantary’s personal and intimate film and video works have adopted his experience of exile as the main source of inspiration. His works explore the sense of space and time and the relationship of sound and image within the context of poetics of everyday life.
Farhad Kalantary er en visuell artist født i Tabriz, Iran, 1962. Han jobber primært med fim, video og installasjoner. Han er bosatt i Oslo, Norge. Arbeidet hans omfatter ikke- fortellende historier, Kalantarys pernlighetsnære film og vidoearbeider har adoptert hans opplevelser om eksil som hovedinspirasjon. Arbeidene hans utforsker en følelse av rom og tid i sameksistens med bilder og lyd i en kontekst av poetisk hverdagsliv.
